Weasel will become famous soon enough
Call me crazy, but I still prefer the bags... Maybe it's because I tow trailers and like having self leveling suspension... If I have to change them out every 7 years or 100k miles I'm ok with it.

The ride height is exactly the same as stock, just as I wanted it. If you decide to lower, probably your costs would go up.
Thanks for the info Chris, I may look into this. I just want a stock ride, not interested in lowering it.

You're not crazy and the theory behind the self leveling is nice, but the issues are starting to get annoying. Now, I do have an extended warranty which covers everything, but taking the vehicle in gets old fast. If not a bag, then a sensor, and so on... and that is with 40K miles.

Ouch! So much for forum participation, public and private I once requested an address from the fella to send a gift over the holidays, as i've made an effort over the years to give back to a number of techs. Let's just say scrooge gave me the silent treatment.

Hope all works out for you chaps at the meet

I'm curious, does the air system make a sizeable difference when towing? Does the air system do a good job of raising the back up under heavy load? It likely would be cool for those purposes I suppose.

Luckily for me when I need to tow or haul, I can call on the Silverado to take the beating!

No problem man! I hope this trick works for you. It may end up helping many others on this board. I don't think I've seen anyone else one here try it.

Yes it does... It keeps the back perfectly level as if there was no load on it. I've had a few vehicles in the past squat pretty bad when towing a car trailer, not this puppy!
