Style 87 vs 132s - opinions?

Hello all, still fairly new to X5world, this place is great! Looking to replace my '01 3.0 oem sport package style 69 wheels with 20" replicas.

Based on styling, which would you all choose? Pros/cons?

The oem 4.6 look with 20" Style 87s:

OR

The '04/'05 sports package look with +1 sizing - 20" Style 132s:

I'm feeling partial to the 132s now but have never seen any pictures of them in 20" sizing on the X5. Hope the extra inch gives it that much more kick. I just think the 132s will help to update my X5 and I just love these wheels in general. Although the 87s give a more oem and aggressive look IMO.

Lastly, any drawbacks to a standard 275/40/20 + 315/35/20s setup? There's really only snow here in Vancouver a couple of days a year but a tonne of rain. Maybe I should go with 275/40/20 + 295/40/20 or just 295/40/20s all around as suggested on the "Buyers guide to replica wheels" here on X5world.

Suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks!

I have no suggestions. Only opinions.

My opinion is, go for the Style 87.

(I know bozo will cancel out my vote, though. )

didnt know those 132 were available in 20"s!

I love the 20"s of the 4.6is as I have them on my X5!

You cannot have the set up 275/40+ 295/40 because you would be raising your rear end!Your wheel/tyre diametre would be 16mm more at the rear !
Some members here have 295/40/20 all round but they are also 16mm up oem rolling diametre! If you can ,go for the oem set up(275/40+315/35).
For winter,ii is advisable to go with a different wheel/tyre set up (eg.18"s)

Actually, 295/40 20s won't make a significant difference in overall diameter (741.7mm) from most OEM combos (my 255/55 18s are 734.1mm; OEM 255/50 19s and 285/45 19s are 739.1mm) if you used them in the front and the back, but they do require at least a 10" wheel, which I'm told will cause rubbing in front, so they're not recommended for front use. And as Powers1 says above, if you tried to combine them with the 275/40 20's - which are a little smaller in diameter than other stock combos (729.0mm) - than you would have somewhat of a mismatch...
And in terms of 87s vs 132s, you can't go wrong with either. I think they're the 2 best looking X5 wheels out there - I've been working on this very same decision (along with going back and forth b/w 19" and 20"... ) I think I landed on getting OEM 19x9, 19x10 132s (with 285/45 19s tires front and rear) in the spring for myself though.

Some how I like #87 better. Whichever ones cheaper. They both look good on an X5.

If you are going replicas...go with the 132s...do not...no matter what...do not chrome them...Under no circumstances should you chrome the wheels...if you did...Roc3 would be jealous...and I cant have that on my conscience.

If you're getting OEM 19x9 and 19x10, you can't go 285/45-19 on all corners. Even if you could get the tires on the front 19x9 rims (the tire sidewall bulge would definitely look weird), they will definitely rub the suspension. My current setup with 255/50-19 on OEM 19x9 fronts only have less than half an inch clearance between the tire sidewall and the strut. If you really want to do 285s all around, then you need to go with a different offset than OEM for the fronts.
