I'd keep it on the hood, like a hat worn backwards, it just looks cooler.

Now if you can incorporate some fan blades into the antenna, you could power the battery instead of using the alternator.

Inside my rear spoiler...my antenna is 84-11-0-399-301 and is to tall to fit in the inside middle. I lose signal in underpasses and tree lined streets, it's annoying

Great shots. A couple things.
1. Get the newer lower profile antenna (p/n -887)
2. Make sure you mount it to a metal surface and not plastic.
3. Like I said in a previous post, if someone custom fabricates a large piece of metal that will mount in that area with max coverage I'm sure reception can be greatly improved.

My antenae is mounted on the roof, right in front of the spoiler, very small, unobtrusive and works well. I have been experiencing a new problem. The radio audio cuts out, sometimes with static, sometimes not. The display is not affected, no "aquiring" message, so I don't think the antenae is the problem. Vehicle is 2005 4.4i and the Sirius was installed by the dealer. Any ideas?

No, it's square in shape and pretty low profile. I can't recall when it was introduced exactly, but it was sometime between early 2005 and mid 2007.

Actually it looks exactly like this one but without the "Terk" logo. When I get a chance I'll snap a photo of it.
