Bump for a really old.. thred lofty golf did you ever get the heater core replace? I'm doing the same job but I'm stuck trying to pull the hvac. I remove the dash and everything but evap is still stuck. How many bolts did you do by the firewall in the engine bay? Did you unhook all the line and a/c line too? I know this is a old thread but I'm hoping your still around so I can get some advice
