insane pricing just another kick in the a**

hi all...the little plastic trim ring that goes around and covers the locking rod opening on the drivers side door..quess how much...thats right $7.35 from the stealer..hassel bmw freeport n.y.....that is insane for literally a $.50 piece of plastic...luv the feeling of getting screwed...yes sir may i have another...rob

That's not too much to ask for a part that has limited demand.

It's not like they are trying to sell you a standard size and shape lock washer for $7 bucks. This is a part that is produced in low numbers and will only fit one door (?) on one model car(?)

My dealer wanted $45 for a brake sensor including tax. I passed. Saw them on-line for $10-15 which is more like it. I will check if my local auto parts store can get one. Dealer parts pricing is seriously out of hand.

That is a rip. At least the wiper blade inserts were only $9.79 at my dealership. Works better than aftermarkets too!

I thought they worked well too, until I got a set of Bosch Icon's.

Really? I had Icons on my 328iC and they SUCKED. After a few months they chattered unless it was pouring rain and it made the loudest most annoying sound ever. What sucks more is I payed 20 bucks a piece for those damn things. Took them out and threw in the trash and put in the next level down Bosch wipers and Im happy again.
