why would you want to do that???

well, there was a heat wave recently and amb temp passed 125 a few weeks ago. the ac was completely unable to cool. it had since returned to around 100 and ac is ok now. with all the sand here, ive been hosing the radiator with water to wash off the sand & dirt. this seems to help improve the ac.

i've seen an X with its aux fan removed. it has a mod on its grille so i can see the radiator fins given max exposure to wind. i think it helps to cool when ac is in use but engine fan function is paramount.

I am having the same problem, at high speed it's cooling but at low speed or at stoplight getting warm air. How do I test the fan before buying a new one and also is there any post on how to replace the fan. Do I need remove the bumper to replace the fan. Thank you for your feedback

Tons of posts on this. Theres a harness to the left of the fan with three leads, identify ground and ground it, then put 12v to the other two. If it doesn't spin its done. I would be willing to bet a lot of money your fan is bad though.
