4.6 spoiler on a face lift 3.0

Hey everyone,

I have a question that I know has been asked many times before. I know because I searched the forum and found similar if not exact questions. However, I would like a solid answer, (not suggestions or opinions) from someone who knows from having experienced this before (I'm sure someone has tried this).

I have a 3.0 facelift and I want to add the spoiler kit. I know I am supposed to buy the entire 4.8 bumper, but I'm cheap and lazy. So what i need to know before i try it is: will the front spoiler from the 4.6 fit onto my bumper?

I know the rear and flares are all the same. I also know that the 4.6 doesn't look as nice as the 4.8. But I just don't want to go through with the hassle of changing my entire bumper, and the price difference is also a factor. Whichever one I put, I still have a 3.0, so I'm an impostor.

If anyone here reading this knows for sure that it DOES NOT fit please let me know so I don't go buy the spoiler and end up stuck with it trying to unload it on ebay.

Thanks...

No, the 4.6is front spoiler will not fit on a facelifted (04-06) E53.

Yes you can, you need to trim off the taps and install it just like we all did on the 2000-2003 model.
Here some pics.
