What's the weight limit on the tail gate?

Hi Guys,

I can't find the weight limit in the manual anywhere? I'm a big guy and would like to know if I can sit on the tail gate without damaging it.
Thanks a bunch for getting back to me.

To be honest i dont think anyone should sit on that tail gate. I am not even sure if it was design to hold a person up.

+1.

230 lbs here. I think my daughter sat on it the same time I did as well, can't remember. I do know that it supported a load of 2x6 lumber one time. It's in the manual, under tailgate.

Bout to say, I've had a couple people sit on that tailgate with me many times with no problems... I'm 180 lbs and had a couple 110-120 lb girls, so still under the limit.

If your big enough to worry if the tailgate can hold you without breaking off, then its your weight you have to limit.
