I never knew about this "feature" either, just saw a picture someone had posted of two ladies sitting on the bottom half. So I went outside and sat on it, felt really sturdy and solid. Can't believe I missed this one. Can the E70's do this too?

I believe that 440 pound number is correct. I know that it is mentioned in the owner's manual, and a number in the 400's is what I remember.

Can you post a schematic of that arrangement? Unless they were Cirque du Soleil performers I am having trouble understanding the physics behind that arrangement.

Oh and btw, ... lucky bastard.

Weasel will become famous soon enough
One time was a funny story... I was walking in the bars parking lot talking to this girl Alexandria, she looked over at the X and said "who in the hell comes to the bar that drives a BMW?" (keep in mind this was a local metal band concert, not many people with decent cars at all) So I reached in my pocket and pulled out my keys and hit the unlock button... Very cute moment as she was actually rendered speachless for a moment. Then we sat on the tailgate talking for a while till the next band was playing.

Just realize that it doesn't have a seatbelt so you can't have anyone legally sitting on it while driving...not even your mother in law.
