Will 98 M3 Rims fit an 05 X5
I'm looking to buy a staggered set of 19's that came off of a 98 M3. I looked online and everything seems the same except the Bolt size. The x5 calls for 14mm and the M3 has 12mm, will this matter?
Thanks in advance |

That said..... Interchangability depends on... 1. Lug size 2. Wheel offset 3. Hubcentric size 4. Hub thickness (How long is the lug bolt?) 5. Overall wheel diameter The stock wheel offset for a 98 M3 is.. 41 front, 50 rear The stock offset for a set of stagger 19" X5 wheels is 48 Front, 45 Rear If the wheels actually fit without any interference with the brake caliper, or turning clearance, then that's a start...

also may want to check fender clearance at full lock... before driving.

Bolt size will not make a difference at all. I have used Hartge e46 m3 wheels on my car and they fit perfect. If it fit a 98 BMW e36 then the main thing you will need to worry about is offset, rim width, and hub size. Get that information and we will let you know. The seller of the wheels can look at the back of the wheel for the rim width and offset. An example would be 19 x 9 et40. Let us know

hub size on an E36 M3 is 72.56. so is the E53 so thats not a problem.

check out this site. The e36 rims have a smaller hub center bore, you may have to get them machined out...

The center bore of the e36 and e53 are both 72.56.
