Gloss black door pillar trim

I know there has been numerous people that have been wanting a gloss black door pillar instead of the faded black look. I saw this up on ebay. Has anyone tried it? Because this a better price than what what the body shop quoted me. $600 for my pillars and both side mirrors when another shop quoted me $400 for front bumper and one side mirror. Let me know if anyone have bought this from this guy. Thanks

Those pictures they have there are not from an X5. No pictures of the steps either. I actually like the matte dull finish, you could probably CF wrap them as well.

These pillar kits will not look the way you are hoping. They protrude out from the door sills, sometimes are cut slightly off, and they dont blend in with the door at all due to the material thickness.

There's one guy overseas that has a promising set of pillar covers for the e53, someoen just has to bite the bullet and order a set for about $140...

I actually order one for $50 from an ebay seller from Brooklyn and they came out really good. It's a little thick but to me they look good. For $50, they came out really good. I will post pics soon.

I would have bought it from that guy I linked ontop but I spoke to him and he couldn't get me actually pictures of the product so I can actually see if they are for the E53.

I know some people and I have been talking about the gloss black pillars. To me the CB one would have thrown off the whole theme of my X because I don't have enough CB to compliment the CB pillars. Only if I had CB interior trim like MrBMWX5, then I would have went with the CB trim. Be back in a bit for pics.

They are 3M. I actually have a wing on my STi that is attached to the trunk using 3M. I was worried that it would fall off so I put it to the test by blowing a heat gun around the wing just to see if it will detach itself and it held up really good.
