How bright are the LED rear turn signals? I have had my eye on doing this mod for a while but I find that during the daytime the LED's are not as bright as bulbs. Especially in direct sunlight.

The only bright LED's I see are on the LCI 3 Series which have a cluster.

To Flashing LCM: Cheap DIY using capacitors

Capacitors Type:
Two 4700µF 35V electrolytic capacitors (part number: 272-1022) from radioshack (5.49 each) + tax:

Capacitors:

Solder like so:
The capacitor will be soldered in-between the male and the female end. Make sure you solder the capacitor POSITIVE to NEGATIVE. My capacitor just had arrows. The arrows just mean the path of electricity. Basically, if your capacitors have arrows, all that means is POSITIVE >>>>>> NEGATIVE. So the arrows should be pointing to the negative end.

NOTE: On my vehicle the yellow striped wire was positive and the brown wire was negative. This may not be the case on your model. Please test and make sure you find the positive wire. This is important when everything is said and done because electrolytic capacitors are polarity sensitive. If the polarity is incorrect, they will explode!

then you will need to solder the capacitor positive to car positive wire and negative to car negative wire.

Thanks I just got some amber 3157's for my front turn signal markers since one went out. This thread was helpful to me for finding the right capacitors.
