Change Instrument Cluster/MID/OBC Language to English..How? Help! :-(

I did this on my car, switched language from German to English. I have a 2001 mod. I used PaSoft 1.36, bought it on ebay for 30 bucks. I am sure the dealer can do it for you though.

Mine also came with german but fortunately ,I could easily change the language to english on the Nav.,as well as french

For me the only way was to re-code the car as my choice of languages (like on the screen above was IT DE FR) and I wanted English.

Once it had been recoded by my local BMW independant to change the 3 installed languages to IT DE EN the Nav, OBC and everything shows up in English.

Upgrading the Nav and choosing English will only work if EN is one of the installed languages. Even without the upgrade it should have been possible just to choose it from the screen above.

It was only 20 quid to do the coding, and took about 10 minutes. I thought about getting the software, and Serial cable to do it myself but it would have been more expensive.
