Thanks CN90. I did purchase a genuine one thinking there was one in there already and I need to replace. I will go ahead and install one.

I have 3.0 motor and I am in the middle of the cooling system refresh. I pulled the expansion tank out and to my surprise, there is no thermostat for the Automatic transmission in there? Does these come with one? Thanks,

They don't come with the transmission t stat. Separate part.

Right, I get that they are 2 separate parts, but my car didn't have a thermostat when I pulled the expansion tank. Hence the question.

Got it. Like someone else said someone removed it and didn't replace.
