So I got the door panel off in my dads x5 upon inspection it appears as though the drivers door wont open because its hitting the window, and cant quite move far enough. When you try to open the door the window can be seen moving back and forth. Everything seems fine with the window/regulator, and I cant see anything thats broken. Im thinking the window may have gotten on the other side of the guide near the hendle but there is still 1 layer of rubber between the window and door handle lever in the door.
Has anyone else had this problem?
