whistling during acceleration with AC on

alright, well my ac blows cold but takes a while to cool. My first feeling was the refrigerant being low. I will check with someone local here to recharge the unit. thanks for the info.

just tested today, actually the whisteling is not related to ac. It is related to the air fan. So if i power off the blower, the whisteling goes away. when power on without ac it comes back.

i thought all x 's have the auxillary fan

strange, but all the 4.4i 2006 i test drove did not have an aux fan.
The whisteling is still there - is a bit annoying but the music takes care of it.

the ac charge is good and the cabin air filter is new . All ducts seem clean, no clue where this could be coming from. Sounds right in the middle of the dash though at the end.
