Online Owners Manual 3.0d

Can anyone point me at an online Owners manual for the 3.0d
I am picking one up from a dealer in Europe and want to mug up on essentials prior to driving 1000miles back home.
Any tips to a newboy would be much appreciated

The key thing is to keep less that 75% power/revs for the first 1200 miles. If you have an auto, don't use the kickdown.

I don't know of an online diesel manual, but if you need specific info, I'm sure someone here can help - including me. I have a 2005 3.0D Sport Auto with almost (but not quite) everything from the options list.

Good advice!Assuming of course that Rex is going to get a new car!

Thanks for the advice everybody.I will keep the revs/kickdown under control.
I have bought an Oct 2005 Excl.Sport Edition Auto from a German BMW dealer and owing to circumstances beyond my control, will only have a limited time for pre-pickup inspection and 'schooling'.
I was hoping for a pre-journey fast learning course!
Despite having requested English manuals etc, they may just not arrive in time.
Anybody had a similar buying experience? What changes in language/notices can I expect to make on the spot?

Thats what I said in post #3 without knowing the year of his X5!!

All the major controls are similar in all models so Rex should get all the data he needs from the Home page!

I had a similar buying experience 2 years ago when I got my X5.I didnt
know then but I can advise you know.
If you car came with Gps ,on the Monitor go to MENU look for SET and then SPRACHE and select GB ,you have now changed the language to English and can be very useful on your journey back home..

I didn't realize the link on the home page was to another site (the same one you gave), rather than being hosted right here on xoutpost.com.
