diy radiator replacement
anyone has a link for diy radiator removal/replacement?...thanks!

i have a slow x5 that I've borrowed from my little cousin.. i really hate it when that white x6 (pix on my avatar) tailgates me all the time.. where ever i go..

I did my radiator but didnt do pics. It is very simple. Drain plug at bottom driver side corner then loosen rad hose at bottom passenger side then upper hose driver side. The shroud has one or two screws then pull up about 3 to 4 inches and set back near the engine over the fan. The radiator the has two bolts up top and it pulls right out. I hope I didnt miss anything and this is from memory 8 months ago. Good luck and it truly is very easy. If you want to remove the shroud you can but you have to remove the plate that hold the transmission heat exchanger. Also this is for the 4.4 model.
