My X didn't come with a changer so I went to Best Buy and purchased an iPod adapter that plugs into the changer plug in the left rear compartment. I ran the iPod interface cable into the consol and it works great, even uses the CD control buttons on the steering wheel. I don't recall the brand name but a quick web search should give you some options. And, the in dash CD still functions for those rare times when my wife wants to hear something not on the 'pod.

Well that seems like a good option, need to get something new in my system. How much did you manage to pick up the adapter for?

I bought it about 2 years ago and if memory serves... it was ~$110

And, one thing I recently learned was that it will not 'charge' my iTouch, as it does my nano. But the 'touch' charge lasts for several days of continous play...
