LCM LightCheck Module IV

Hi.

I have the following code:

LCM LightCheck Module IV

oE LCM: Control-unit fault

I have no issues (that I know) ! Just the fault.

Up front I have a set of xenon upgrades - as in I fitted the lamps and ballast to the existing headlamp-LED halo upgrades-led lamps in the fogs and led tails.

I have load resistors and capacitors across them to prevent flickering and "Check" lights.

I have coded the DRL option but when the light control is turned to the left (Auto), the halos and main beam come on.

I thought the halos came on when the DRL is active?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Mine only come on when I turn the parking lights on.

Yes, mine too, but do you have the "A" option when you turn the light control to the left?

I always thought that this was "adaptive light control" which turned the lights on automatically when it got dark. When you program the daytime option, I thought it meant the halos lit as soon as you started the ignition with the main beams only coming on when it got dark.

Can anyone confirm that this is the way they work?

I think the a turns the lights on and off when you start and stop the car.

Via a light sensor AFAIK.

Eg. The lights will come on if you drive into a dark car park or tunnel during the day...and obviously at night.
