Smile Radio (DSP) sensitivity adjustment

Dear all:
Being new to this forum and the X5 pleae help me. Dealer unable to 'fix'.

The default on the AM/FM tuning is low sensitivity, menaing that it does not pick up many stations. If I set the sensitivity to high (I get all the stations) but every time I turn the car back on the darn thing defaults to LOW. Is there a simple way to permanently select the high sensitivity?? I don't want to fiddle with the controls every time I start the car. Thanks much.

BTW: Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Do you have nav? If so, try accessing the radio service menu to see if there is an option that can be set there - http://www.xoutpost.com/showarticle-236.html

I do have navigation.
I'll give that service mode trick a shot.

Just wondering, what are the advantages of putting it in USA mode versus NOAREA mode?

I think if it's in NOAREA mode then it may not show your source in stereo (ST). Also, if you are adding SIRIUS then the unit must be in USA mode for it to work.
