Removing pdc sensors how to?

Hi all!

Just wondering if anyone knows of a link to some instructions to remove the pdc sensors on the bumpers (front and rear) with out taking the whole bumper off? outer ones are easy, but the inner fronts are proving to be really awkward and i dont want to break them. I have a 4.4.

Cheers

Chris

Hello, i am experiencing some PDC fault also. I think I need to remove the front middle sensors, did you find out how to remove them without removing the front bumper?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, its driving me mad now everytime I drive the car!

Thanks in advance for your input.

Thanks very much "01 BMW X5" thats great information. Had a feeling there had to be an easier way. My X5 is an '01' so looks like I just need to pry the front middle sensors out. If time allows I will give it a go later this afternoon!

Thanks again for the link and your assistance.

Gav.

Thanks again, managed to remove the faulty sensors. I think the elec plugs were not fully on, came apart too easy. Anyway, cleaned them up by spraying wd40 in them and refitting it all. Now the PDC works as it should do!! Its great!!

Cheers Gav.
