recomend a service manual?
EXAMPLE:-"remove retaining bolt, remove rear rotor" -forgets to tell you you have to wind down the emergency brake shoe let alone how to line up the sight hole to do that! anyone know of a good printed service manual? |

Bentley.
Actually, unless the X5 parking brake system is different than the other BMWs, you shouldn't have to do anything other than release the parking brake (after removing the retaining bolt) to remove the rear rotors. I've changed tons of rear rotors and have never done anything but remove the bolt and release the parking brake to get a rotor off (except hammer a rusted one off).
