Remus exhaust melting bumper?...

Hi guys,

To those of you who have the Remus exhaust, would you mind checking your rear valence/bumper above the exhaust and seeing if it has melted any? Mine is definitely warping (thankfully not dripping) above the "REMUS" text on the top of the exhaust. And the tips seem to be properly spaced in the bumper cutout.

Thanks,
-Cyrus

No melting at all whatsoever after 2 years with the Remus. Do you have a picture of the problem?

I snapped a couple pics just for you. I've probably had it on for around 5-6 years, but that shouldn't make any difference.

Thanks,

I must have over 6 or 7 years with my Remus and no signs of melting at all.

As a side note, this stuff from Detailer's Domain (a site sponsor) is excellent for cleaning those nice Remus tips.

If you are refering to the round half shape, thats like that so you can remove the rear bumper. THat way you can get the tex bit up in there.

Thanks guys, I'm happy to know those are supposed to be there. Sorry for the dirt, the whole car needs a detail!
