Tranny On Cold

Hello, I get this weird issue.
When I let it sit for all Night, In the morning It doesn't seem to read Parking .P., so I have to start it on .N., after engine gets hot, then It reads .P. without a problem. What could it be? transmission?

I have came across the error and it says Transmission Switch. Have any of you ever dealt with this? where is it located? can it be cleaned?

Could just be that the selector cable needs some slight adjustment. Which transmission is it?

I haven't done one on a BMW, but on many other vehicles the neutral safety switch (position switch) is on the side of the transmission, and is adjustable to ensure that it makes contact in Park and Neutral, but not other gears. Sounds like it just needs adjustment.

This one is actually off a L322 Range Rover but the E53 is identical - just on the other side of the transmission:
