Please Help; Self Leveling error

Hello, recently my battery died and I had a local shop install a new battery. Of course, BMW has to make it difficult to get to the battery on a X5. All the bolts were removed and the self leveling pump was moved out of the way in order to get to the battery. I have noticed since the replacement of the battery, that one of my 30 AMPs fuses blew out that controls the self leveling pump. I replaced the fuse and the error message went away on the dash. However, I am noticing that my rear end is lower than it previoulsy used to be, there are no error messages on the dash, all the fuses are working. As soon as I start the X5 the rear end seems to b lift up slightly to the normal level. Is this normal, did something need to be reset when the battery was changed, or is there pinch in the hose somewhere?

Any thoughts...

Sounds like one of the wires was pulled loose from its connection when they replaced the battery. If it shorted out when it was pulled from its connection would also explain why you had a blown fuse .

Check the leveling wiring connections.
