X-pipe or deletion of the two mufflers?

Hey Members... I'm torn between the X-pipe or the removal of the two mufflers. Which is recommendable... both financially and performancewise? I like how both sound in the end... Mavrck and JTRC's videos.

X-Pipe.

After adding the AFE Cold Air Intake and the deleting resonator via X-Pipe, I love the way my SAV sounds and rides.

Installed Magnaflow X-Pipe

Members, I just got the Mag X-pipe installed this afternoon. A little dissapointed because it sounds the same when i had the resonator. No throathy sound like what others have posted on YouTube. What do you think is the problem?

Thanks for the input,e53x54.4. Weasel kindda put me at rest now. Apparently, all 4.6is are non-valvetronic engines and will not have the same sound as the 4.4 and 4.8's, which are valvetronic engines... so, i basically wasted $'s putting on the x-pipe. Lessons learned...

Weasel will become famous soon enough
Don't look at it as money wasted because it did improve the flow a bit and is still a good step to do. Someone on one of these threads recently put an x-pipe and ebay eurosport mufflers on their 4.4i and said it soounds awesome, just waiting on the video!

weasel. you're right. i shouldn't look at it as $ wasted. in fact, when i fired it up this morning, i heard a little growl. i think it's still fresh. muffler deletion is next on my list though. just straight piping it all the way! thanks for all your help, man. i appreciate it.

I have a 3.0 and didn't have the mis-fortune of not hearing my X Growl after resonator delete. I added an AFE cold air intake and that has giving me great help in the growl process.

Hope everything turns out good for you BlackMamba.
