Bluetooth in my 05 4.4?
The seller told me it had Bluetooth but incan't get my iphone to see a signal to connect to. Went by my local dealer and they said it's not Bluetooth equipped and printed me the option list. It has option 0640 - Car Telephone Preperation. If indeed I don't have Bluetooth, is there an easy to understand guide to retrofitting it? ps. I have the Business CD with Logic 7 Sound System if that helps... |

OEM Bluetooth can be picked up from bimmernav.com for 725+ship, or if you want to ditch your factory stereo for a new navigation unit with bluetooth, they have a direct-fit replacement for $625 (bonus, you get navigation, too!)

I thought that all 05+ had bluetooth, look in the DIY section under the Bluetooth section, there are clearer directions...

After some reading, I'm understanding that if I have the SOS button, addition of Bluetooth is easy. I don't have SOS though. In the centre roof console, the buttons are: sunroof, homelink & blank with slits.
So does this mean I'm screwed and have to go with a $750 kit to install OEM BT? |
