The only way to know for sure is to buy it from the dealer. Lots of suppliers make parts for manufacturers and also to sell direct, and just because the same supplier made them doesn't mean that the parts have the same specification or quality.

pretty sure if the trans is ZF, get a ZF filter. on pelican parts, there are two manufacturers listed as OEM supplier, ZF and IBS. i would go with ZF, the filter kit from them is $74, which i guess is reasonable.

Well, he has a 3.0 according to his profile, so it isn't a ZF transmission but rather a GM one.
Safest way is to get it from the dealer.
