Thanks for the responses..
It looks like thumbs up for anything other than a NANO. Even though DICE state the NANO is 100% compatible. Ive proven that's not the case. Although, I still would like to know if you can keep the classic connected constantly, even when it sleeps/hibernates and that the DICE never freezes in this configuration. |

I've never had the Dice unit itself freeze up. My ipod is always connected.

It really does look that the later Gen versions work, and the early ones, although DICE say are compatible, dont. I have managed to borrow a Gen1 iPod Touch with the correct firmware. The dice does the same. Locks up after first use. IPod can be used fine.. That isnt locked up.
