i need to replace front lambda sensors. any tips for d.i.y.?

i need to replace the front lambda/ o2 sensor on bank 1 on my 2001 4.4 x5.
i have been told its would be better to replace both front sensors, so i have ordered both.
is it an easy job to do, or should i get a garage to do it.
also,any tips on doing this job?
