X5 4.8is 02 Sensor not ready?? Can't pass Inspection.

I just bought an 06 X5 4.8is and it currently will not pass inspection because the 02 Sensor reads not ready. The dealer was supposed to inspect it, but they were having the same problem and told me to drive it around for a while and take it somewhere to see if it passes. Well its been 800 miles and still says 02 Sensor not ready.

The dealer took it to BMW to get the A/C repaired and said they probably unplugged the battery and thats why its getting the message. Anybody ever have this problem.
