Help! I need to fix my rims.

Hello,

today, I got some scartches on my rear rim , not bent or big damages, but still noticeable .
ok, that's not a big deal to fix it, but I have aftermarket 22" rims, and only have one OEM 18" rim in my trunk as a spare.
since I need to leave my damaged rim at the shop for couple days, what I'm just wondering is,
run three 22" rims (2 front, 1 rear) with one OEM 18" rim for couple days will be fine?

also, does anyone remember thread that one guy with porsche posted?
it was DIY - How to fix scratched rims or something similar

Thank you very much for your help!!

Depending on how deep your scratches are!Firstly try this product that Motordavid recommended for light work scratches.

YOu need to send them back to HRE for repair.
The rear halve would need to be replaced. Expect to pay around $250 ish if memory recalls.

Sorry about your scratches. Hope it does not cost you too much to get them fixed.

Wuzin, sorry to hear the damaged rim. I know the feeling. I think the spare 18 should be OK temporarily since they should have about similar overall diameter. But your truck would look like crap with the 18 in there.

Good luck getting it fixed.

I forgot .....lead time with HRE is generally 1 month once they get the wheel........
If you're lucky, the earliest I've ever seen is 2 weeks.
