So I purchased a cargo cover for my 2003 X5 3.0i build date of 8/03. It appears that my particular year build was just in time for a makeover of the cargo cover and thus, the one I bought is the "older" 2003 style with the elongated brackets and attachement points. It is the folding type and in absolutely perfect condition. See pics attached.
It is a beige/tan color and looks to me to have everything included. You just need to snap it into place and there you have it.
