Angry New Brake Pads...??( BRAMAN BMW CPO)

The battery on my 06 "died" 2 weeks before the 4 year original warranty date.
This is an 06 3.0 Sport Prem that I bought CPO. (last week of Dec 09 at 32000 mi now at 36000mi )
I managed to just get it started and took it to LAUDERDALE BMW, got a loaner and left it.
Not only did they replace the battery they found that the brake pads were at the "minimum" which means that BRAMAN in Palm Beach (selling dealer let the car go out with just barely over the minumum linings) so, if the battery had not gone dead I would have had to have a brake job (at my expense) Not nice BRAMAN...so much for CPO inspection
WHAT A CROCK...
Now I "think" there is a problem..when I hold the brake ie: longer than a traffic light, we have bridge openings here in So. FL. that take 8-10 minutes and sometimes I don't go to neutral, I feel the pedal sinking...very, very slowly...perhaps 1/2 inch in the stop time...I do not remember this before the brake job...or am I being super sensitive?

Maybe there is some air in the brake lines? Did they bleed the fluid?

Yep 10 minutes of idling in 92 heat I've idled it longer..the temp gauge never moves up...(unlike the old Bavarias that overheated if you slowed down in traffic in much cooler weather)
