Smile Singapore X5 E53 Buddies?

Hello to all? New here. Any Singapore X5 E53 owners out there?

Really random question, but how do the buttons feel/knobs turn? Are they hollow/plastic/like, or a good solid type of feel? Don't know how to explain this better...
Like, how the non-nav OEM radio buttons feel, compared to something cheaper and of lesser quality

Here's a night shot of the Hualingan to give you that night feel - how your dash looks during those night drives

@fmugur - Hi Flo! here's the photo I owe you... Oh by the way, I emailed another reseller in HK and asked about this 3.5 female connector at the back beside the ipod connector and the guy answered "it is for the MIC"

What's the letter "T" on the tape label attached to the wire???

another reseller said..."HI, THANKS FOR YOUR INTERESTING,,,
THIS CONNECTOR IS FOR THE TV ANTENNA , WHICH IS NOT INCLUDED WITH IT. YOU NEED TO BUY IT FROM SOMEONE ELSE BECAUSE I DON'T OFFER IT.
AND FOR THIS TIME I'M OUT OF STOCK FOR THREE WEEKS

I'm extremely confused now!!!

In the previous picture you posted below, what is this antenna for? Maybe this mates with the mysterious jack beside the white ipod connector???

I have the TV which is the one you circled in the picture above but unfortunately the DVB-T does not work in NA. I remember you mentioned that you got the TV working. Now, what type of antenna did you connect and where? On my units the tv cable beside the IPod cable. The connector is similar to the gps connector.

For the mic jack, not sure. Hopefully it is for the mic. As I said I don't have the new model as you have. I hope to get my new units this weekend.

doing more and more research on this fullmetaljacket, and it seems the unit comes preloaded with igo navigation, and sometimes not finding the right file on the sd card can cause it to default and go to garmin, not an expert but saw on youtube and carsolutionguys that this is a common problem with setup, want this unit so bad but seems like the dynavin is alittle more smooth to install for the masses.

Not quite sure that Dynavin is more robust though. Hualingan came first on the market with this unit and there are just a few test units for Dynavin out there. They haven't started the production yet. So far there is not much feedback on Dynavin. I do not have problems with mine other than the BT not having good voice quality to the far end when in a call. Other than that it's a very good unit.

The GPS is running from the SD card so it's whatever you put on it. You have a path that you can set in the units Setting menu for the GPS app to start. You can use any app to run that way. To me it looks like if he gets a good gps on the SD card then all should be ok.

i saw videos of wolf and igo software looks really cool to me, now am venturing into seeing how to customize your displays, theres this one display of bmw with world in background that is niceeee, i definitely appreciate the size of the hualingan which is why to me is worth the time put into install,
