Not having DSP is a good thing in this situation. I don't ever recall anyone having to change the wiring harness for the ipod adapter. More than likely you have a bad unit. Your installer should have checked it before cutting your bracket and putting it in the dash. Neither Hualingan nor Dynavin has earned our confidence that they have good quality control in place.

Have your iinstaller connect another radio to your harness and see if any sound come out. If it does, then more than likely you have a bad unit. Where did you purchase it?
