Gonna phuck'en loose it!!!!!

Ok my MID, like most others had more pixels dead then alive. So after searching on how to fix the pixels I found this thread...

Eric, I fixed your MID from Peter. Writeup of E38 MID repair

Well lets just say, I ended up stabbing and smashing the MID to small tiny particals! That epher will never see the inside of anything other then a land fill! GD that thing pissed me off!

Ok, so that is a total lose. So after realizing that my CD player needed the misfit MID to work.... I guess I need to get an aftermarket CD player. So logicly, I need to remove the stocker first.......

Well.... This is what I came up with..... BMW's are so expensive because the spend so much time engineering how to keep the CD player just loose enough to have the owner get so pissed off, they end up lighting the SAV on fire, and are forced to buy a new one!

HOW THE PHUCK do you get the " busness CD player " out!?!?!?!?!?! I did remove 2 small torques bit screws... now its looose. I can slide it about 1 inch, and then thump! Wont move. It just sits there and laughs at me!!!

Any help would more then awesome!!!!

I feel your pain....your best bet (from experience...i ruined my MID trying to fix it too) is to get another one off ebay and plug it back in and play....

Repairing the MID is probably one of the more time consuming DIY out there. Refer to this thread

I did that, and when I pull it, it goes " thump " and stops. Think I should, Grip and Rip it???

Those screws messed me up the first time too. You have to unscrew them more than you think you really have to. Glad you got it done finally.

You know when you put in CD player, and if thats the only thing, you will only be able to run 4 speakers, if you have premium sound, all your speakers can't run off 4 channels on the radio, well it can, but risk of damage. If you don't have premium sound, then your ok...

First off, can someone tell me why the multi quote dosent work?I click it and nothing happens? WTF?

@ sethro, Count on that, brotha. I am a pic posting whore!!! lol.
@ wullaby, Whats the best way to tell? I would guess, from your post, that it is the amount of speakers. So where is the "tell tail" place to look? And what you said, doesnt make sence? Why woulod it cause damage? And to what? Thanks.
