Final update:

I changed the oil sensor and drove the car for 1 week in stop and go traffic. So far no check error messages showing so it seems problem is solved.....

Hi,

So today at a hill and in D i experienced the same thing as you have. The oil light flickering and the message is displayed then when i hit the gas and move forward it disappears. I just wanted to ask if all you replaced was the oil level sensor/sender? I am about to order that parts just wanted to make sure nothing else is needed. Thank You

Had this happen. I replaced my oil level sensor and it went away.
