I've never had these Nokian tires before but the name is synonymous with winter so their tires can't be bad in the snow. In fact they're developed by people who live in the snow so they would know a thing or two. You can check out their website and I think they have a couple of offerings for our X5 in both snow and all-season.

I have had 4 sets of Nokian snow tires on VW, Audi's and now my X5. I can't say enough about them. In snow they are the best I have had. I am going to get a set of there WR's for my VW since they are a Allseason tire that is darn good in the snow. Most Allseason tires are marginal in snow but the WR's are very good. You will not be disappointed. my set up!
