AC unit turns on and off on its own?
has anyone had this happen? i have an 02 x5 3,0 and the fan unit is turning off at will and on at will from time to time while driving? any help is appreciated! thx

Had the same problem a while back. Simple DIY.

thx for the feedback but now a new issue. as my Climate control was on and off a little bit on its own, i proceeded to do a maintenance change of the thermostat and water pump. after everything was put back together, the CLIMATE CONTROL WONT TURN ON AT ALL.
the system throws out a code 74 (ac compressor control). the FSR was replaced on the car at 50 and i was told the FSR has nothing to do with the actual climate control turning on (just the fans). PLEASE HELP |
