UPDATE: 4.8 brake pads fitted
Well between the supplier going away for a week and then me doing the same, finally got round to fitting the new RED STUFF CERAMIC pads from EBC for the 4.8.
As they are still bedding first impressions may be misleading, but I can say they are superior to the OEM in everyday driving. There is more initial bite which means that I don't need as much pressure in light braking, and there is no noise. That continues through when coming up to a set of traffic lights, in that it seems more reassuring when braking harder, and you stop sooner. Am waiting for a hot day to see how they go for retardation..... Cheers
