no waking the neighbors unless you like to mash the gas when leaving your house. leave your cats and mufflers on. get a crossover pipe, stainless. cut out the resonator. get pieces of pipe and adapters, weld in a cross over pipe. get on it and enjoy the sound... made mine sound like i actually had a v8

Just find you a good indy muffler shop that nows what a resonator delete is. I think it cost me around $40 to do my E46 and took about a half hour. No annoying loud vehicle, it just makes the kittens growl a little meaner. Worth every penny IMO and I can't to hear how it makes the V8 X5 sound.

not the best pics but you get the idea. i then used the existing hanger to hold it up and warped it with headder wrap. looks pretty good after that.
