the pump(http://www.joetlc.com/images/imagecache/1J5955651.jpg) fits into a grommet/strainer: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...500_AA300_.jpg which fits on the white tank.

Try changing the grommet first...

Just buy the pump too, I've had to change mine twice along with the o-ring.
