My *%$# roundel peeled!

Weirdest thing-I just pulled into my garage and happened to look at my front hood roundel-85% of the paint/plastic coating has peeled off!
Most of the badge is an aluminum colored circle with the raised badge imprints. It must have happened recently, or I would have noticed.

Could it have happened due to going throught the automatic car wash the day before Thanksgiving? (Forgive me-I have sinnned-it wasn't even touchless, although I thought a pretty good one.)

Pete!

I just came home today and noticed my front roundel had peeled completely off. I took my car to work so the X sat outside in heavy winds all day. What was the outcome for you? That is, does our warranty cover this, or am I forced to buy new from Bimmian?

KS

Can be replaced under warranty.

Not 100% sure....but there is really nothing to steal. The plastic decal doesn't come off in one piece; it is very thin and cracks easily.
