Security Code for X5 4.8is 2006

Hi friends:

The option "Code" is always disable in the onboard computer.
It this normal ? the instructions says that it possible to set a security code of 4 digits to avoid start the engine till the driver enter the code.

It this option available for X5 4.8is 2006 or only for other models.

Any help will be appreciated.

I know all X5s with nav have the option. I think the rest of them have that feature as well.

I believe the "Code" option is only enabled when the vehicle is off and the key is in the On position.

Yep, it has to be in the On position to be set.
