LOCKING LUG NUTS
Here is the final word from SoCalMotorsports...from 12/05 on (I guess to the end of the E53 run) the lugs are not the same as the earlier ones.
My build date is 03/06, it pays to check the VIN when ordering parts... They are sending me the correct lugs... So, hopefully that is the end of that saga. Daniel Thanks SoCal...

Correct locks for "late" X5 E53 ...build date after 12/05 is 36 13 6 773 ***192 ***

Hmmm, aren't wheel locks "supposed" to look very similar to the regular lugs?
These are ORIGINAL BMW locks....I suppose they will discourage thieves just by looking at the wheels you can see that they are "locked", and have a cap over the opening.
