good luck with her, change the oil every 3 to 5k and she should be fine, also use chevron fuelinjector cleaner with techron, great stuff to keep your injector clean, every 6 to8k, good luck and enjoy

Oil changes every 3-5k...that is terrible and wasteful advice. 1st off you should be running synthetic, which means 12-15k oil changes (follow the OBC message saying when oil changes are due based on engineered calculations, NOT 1980's oil advice) and if youre using a quality gas like Chevron/Texaco Premium (which premium is required anyways) youd already be running Techron through it on a daily bases...adding it after the fact is nothing more than a false sense of feeling like youre helping your car just because you're spending needless money. If you want a TRUE list of maintenance advice based on mileage from the mouth of a BMW mechanic since the late 90's, feel free to TEXT (I hate talking on the phone, I'd rather be in person) me at 206-679-7149.

James, you should make a new post, and give us all this list. I am sure it will help more than just one person. I for one would like to see whats on it.

[QUOTE=m5james;778579]1)repaired. For the price, I've considered just upgrading to a 4.6is cluster, but then again, it'd be another stock cluster just waiting to fail, so it's a toss up.

4.6is cluster works on 4.4? Direct plug and play?
