Angel Eyes

As some of you know, I was looking to brighten the angel eyes on my '05. Well, I'm at a mid-point of the project. Better than stock, not quite where I want to be. Anyway, here's some background info.
The stock bulb is an Osram 64113, 12v, 10w. The bulb I have in there now is a Osram 64115, 12v, 20w. They are brighter, now I just need whiter. The bulbs are the same size and the stock ones so no modifications necessary. When I get some time to take more pictures, I'll get a full write-up done. The top pic is stock, the bottom is the 20w.

wow, you actually did it, i thought you were just joking.

not bad, 9 bucks for a new bulb

you could always paint the bulb blue

alright, from what little research i did, i figured out that the bulb base for this specific one is a BA9S

if you do a google search, i found these "hyper white"

Thanks, forgot to put the base size in the original post. I have both of those bulbs you found. The Polarg's are whiter but nowhere near the brightness they state, probably less than the stock. The LED's have the same issue, but probably even dimmer than the Polarg's. I have one more idea I'm going to try, but my thought is that I'm going to melt the housing. But hey, it's $20 for a replacement. Fire up the heater and let the fun begin!

Looks much better than stock . Did you change the signal bulbs to white/blue? In my neck of the woods it's illegal to have any color other than yellow for signal light.

I did change the signal lights to LED's. Technically illegal, I haven't had any issues yet. (knocking on wood)
