Code Reader stuck in Plug!
Hello all, new member here. I have a CPO 2006 X5 4.4, 54,000 mi, purchased a few months ago, and have put on less than 2000 mi. Saturday my "service engine soon" light came on, but the vehicle runs great.
Today, my boss (trying to be helpful) plugged in a OBD reader. The codes were P0300 general missfire, what ever that means. That is not the immediate problem, however. We can't pull the reader out of the plug. It appears to be locked in somehow. Any ideas on this?
